Digital Output (DO)

The DO (digital output) offers the capability to signal an error message.

To increase the switching current of the DO, a relay can be added to the product. Thanks to a common housing shape of the 857 Series, for example, the relay (Item Number 857-304) can be snapped in next to it.

This output is quickly and easily extended to a switching current of 6 A by simply using a push-in type jumper bar (Item Number 859-402; see Push-In Type Jumper Bar).
