Parallel Connection (on the Output Side)
- In parallel operation, the output voltages of the products to be connected in parallel must be set as precisely as possible to the same value. The resistance of the conductors between the power supply units and the load must be nearly identical.
- Only products of the same type may be connected in parallel.
- External rail-mount terminal blocks must be used for parallel connection. A parallel connection directly on the connectors on the secondary side of the product is not allowed.
- To decouple the outputs in parallel operation, use of diodes in the positive path is recommended. These diodes must be rated for the maximum output current of the product.
