Message Window
The message bar or message window of the WAGO Device Manager is located at the bottom of the interface. Errors, warnings, success messages and additional information are continuously displayed here during configuration.
First, the message bar is displayed:

Minimizes the message window and displays the message bar. | ||
2 | Displays the number of errors. The indicator flashes until the message window is opened. | |
3 | Displays the number of warnings. | |
4 | Displays the number of success messages. | |
5 | Indicates the amount of additional information. | |
6 | Displays the last message for a few seconds. If there is an error message, it is highlighted in red. |
The complete list of messages with detailed information is displayed in the message window. The button opens the message list:

The “Errors,” “Warnings,” “Successes” and “Info” buttons in the message window are switches that, when activated, display corresponding messages (button is colored) and, when clicked again, hide corresponding messages (button is grayed out).
The buttons can be used to carry out the following functions:

[Warnings] | Displays warnings during the configuration. | |
[Successes] | Displays success messages such as successfully connected devices or successfully transferred data. | |
[Info] | Displays status messages/configuration information. | |
[Clear] | Removes the displayed messages from the list. | |
[Restore] | Restore removed messages. | |
[Save] | Opens a dialog window for saving all displayed messages as a text file. Depending on the PC configuration, the download may be made directly to the Downloads folder. | |
[Pin] | Keeps the window visible and expanded in the foreground. | |
[Unpin] | Unpins the pinned message window. | |
[Search] | Searches for and filters any text in the message window. Entering a character enables the search function for the “Device,” “Description” and “Source” columns and displays the results in green. Lines without hits are hidden. | |
Description | Displays the description of the message. For more extensive messages, further information can be opened using the button. | |
Source | Shows the source of the messages, e.g., “Settings.” | |
Message Time | Displays the date and time when the message was created. The latest message is at the top. |
