WAGO Device Manager License

The software is protected by licensing mechanisms. For productive, unlimited software usage, a license is required.

The software can also be used fully without a license key for 30 days. This trial period *) only includes the days of actual use.

After the trial period ends, WAGO Device Manager can no longer be used productively. You are prompted to enter a license.

Purchase a License

You can purchase the license in the WAGO eShop. The WAGO Download Center provides you with a direct link to the corresponding licensed product page in the eShop:

  1. Open the  WAGO Download Center (Detail page “WAGO Device Manager”).
  2. Follow the link provided to order the license.
  3. Purchase the license.
  1. After purchase, you will receive an email with the license certificate. The certificate contains the license keys that you need for further activation.

Activate a License

  1. The license has been purchased.
  2. The license certificate is available.
  3. An Internet connection has been established (required for activation).
  1. Open the WAGO Device Manager.
  2. Open the license repository. To do this, click the license icon in the upper-right corner of the WAGO Device Manager.
  3. Click the [New License] button.
  4. Enter the license key from the license certificate.
  5. Confirm that you will use the software exclusively for business purposes and accept the WAGO Software License Agreement.
  6. Click [Add].
  1. The license has been added. You can use the WAGO Device Manager indefinitely.

*) Please note that the trial period is tied to the engineering device and the 30 days are shared by all WAGO engineering tools. If necessary, you can obtain a license to extend the trial period by a further 30 days (License Item 2759-801/807-1000) from Support or your sales representative.
