Secure mode

mode="secure"

The agent will use this mode to communicate with the server (secure/unsecure)
If mode is set to secure, the agent will only connect to severs with a valid and trusted certificate
If mode is set to unsecure, the agent will accept self signed certificates

Recommended workflow

• Prepare an SD-card
• Create a file "wds.cfg" in the root folder of the SD card with the following content: mode="secure" tls_cert="device_sphere_server.crt"
• Copy \ProgramData\WAGO Software\WAGO Device Sphere\Certificates\device_sphere_server.crt" to the SD-card.
• insert the SD-card into the controller
• switch on the controller
• Execute the commissioning
• remove the SD-card from the commissioned device
• repeat with the next controller
