Deleting a Connection

A connection can be deleted. However, this function should be used with caution.
If the connection was created as “Generic” in the “Add Connection” dialog, all the data that was entered will no longer be available after deletion.
If it is an EDS-based connection, but one for which the input and output data points have been configured (modular device) or settings have been made for the target configuration, this data will also no longer be available after deletion.
