Information Area (Systray)

By default, WAGO Navigator starts in the background every time you log into Windows to provide messages informing you about updates. The corresponding tray icon in the notification area of your taskbar indicates that WAGO Navigator is running in the background.

Note: If the tray icon does not appear, launch WAGO Navigator and look at the settings (settings menu via gear icon > “General” tab) to see whether the “Start Application Automatically” option is checked.

 

The following menu items can be accessed via the tray icon in the notification area:

Open Navigator

Opens WAGO Navigator.

About

Displays information about WAGO Navigator: software version, third-party software components used, product support and contact information

Exit

Closes the background application and removes the tray icon from the notification area of your taskbar.
When Windows restarts, WAGO Navigator restarts automatically if the “Start Application Automatically” option is selected.

Description

WAGO Navigator is running as a background process.

There are unread notifications.
They can be opened via the Windows Notification Center (see notification icon in the taskbar: Windows 10: / Windows 11: ).

There is no connection to the Download Center.
Check your Internet connection.
