Displaying and Downloading Dependent Components

Dependent components are components related by compatibility. For example, one particular add-on may have dependencies on very different CODESYS versions; the add-on would be valid for all these CODESYS versions.

Dependent components appear in two locations on a component’s detail page:

1) List of Dependencies Accessible via the “Technical Data” Table

The “Technical Data” table is useful for viewing individual dependencies of specific versions and downloading the versions. Each row of the table represents a component version. For each version, a list of dependencies to other components can be displayed.

  1. If dependencies are available, click the [x Dependencies] button.
  2. The list of dependencies is displayed.
  3. If necessary, download dependent components individually or add several components to the download list.

2) List of Dependencies Accessible via Bundle Download

Recommended: Use bundle download to download all dependent and recommended components (and install them directly if desired) (see Download Bundle of Dependent and Recommended Components).
