Customer Due Diligence and Disclaimer

The WAGO PLC Agent is an AI-based product that automatically generates information and responses, including program code, based on individual inputs (“outputs”). The WAGO PLC Agent is designed to support CODESYS ST programming and commissioning of the WAGO I/O System. The WAGO PLC Agent generally does not require the input of personal data within the meaning of Article 4 No. 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for its functionality. If the Customer intends to enter, upload, or otherwise process personal data when using the WAGO PLC Agent, prior written consent from WAGO is required and compliance with GDPR requirements must be ensured. WAGO expressly emphasizes that outputs automatically generated by AI systems may contain errors. WAGO assumes no liability for the accuracy or completeness of the generated outputs. The customer is advised to test all generated outputs before deployment in productive systems. WAGO is not liable for damages resulting from use of untested outputs.

The AI system used for the WAGO PLC Agent is based on an OpenAI model and is provided by WAGO via Microsoft Azure Cloud Services. The version of the underlying OpenAI model can be found in the WAGO PLC Agent Release Note. When using the WAGO PLC Agent, the Microsoft terms and conditions for  Online Services must therefore be observed. WAGO assumes no liability for the copy-right compliance of data used for training purposes, unless such data has been provided by WAGO. The Customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary rights for the use of any copyright-protected outputs.

In addition, the warranty and liability provisions of the  WAGO Software License Terms for Standard Software apply.
