Apply Cycle Settings from Higher-level Device

The device structure searches upward for the next valid definition of the bus cycle task.

Update variables

Defines the update of the I/O variables
The default value is defined in the device description.

Use Parent Device Settings

The update is performed based on the settings of the higher-level device.

Enabled 1 (bus cycle task used if not used in a task)

CODESYS updates the variables in the bus cycle task if they are used in no other task.

Enabled 2 (always in bus cycle task)

CODESYS updates all variables in each cycle of the bus cycle task, regardless of whether they are used or whether they are mapped to an input or output channel.
