“PLC Settings” Tab
PLC settings can be made in this tab.
I/O warnings can be classified and displayed as an error or warning.
The “Behavior for outputs in STOP” control the behavior of the output channels if the controller switches to the “STOP” status:
All outputs can be set to the default values that result from the I/O image or the current values are retained.
PLC settings can be made in this tab. The [Other PLC Settings] button opens a dialog that includes the following tabs by default:
- “Applications” displays the list of applications on the controller.
- “Files” displays the configuration of the data transfers between a host file system and the device.
- “PLC Shell” is used as a command line interpreter to query information from the controller or to execute actions (e.g., starting/stopping an application).
Possible commands are queried by entering “?”.
The tabs displayed here vary depending on the device.
