“EtherNet/IP” Tab (Slave)

On this tab, the IP address for the slave is assigned.
It also displays general EtherNet/IP information from the EDS file of the slave (type plate). The information is device- and manufacturer-specific.

If a device is imported into the product catalog via EDS file, the data for the type plate is fixed and cannot be edited.

If the “Generic_EtherNet/IP_Adapter” from the product catalog is used, the data can be entered according to the product manual of the device.

A completed type plate is important if a compatibility check is supposed to be performed when a connection is established (see Fieldbus Configurator > “Communication Settings” Tab).
