General Settings
The gear button opens the “Settings” dialog: 
It contains two tabs for configuration:
“General” Tab
On this tab, you can configure general WAGO Navigator settings.
Selection/Option | Description |

“Start Application Automatically” | If this autostart function is enabled, the program starts automatically when you log into Windows, runs in the background and checks for updates. |
Language | WAGO Navigator’s installation language is initially set to the language of the operating system, but you can use this drop-down list to change it (German/English). The change applies when WAGO Navigator restarts. |
“Notifications” Tab
This tab is for specifying which update notifications should appear for which category of components (see also: Configuring and Receiving Update Notifications).
Notifications | Description |

All | All new products and updates are displayed. |
Only Security Updates | Only security updates are displayed. |
None | No updates are displayed. |
The categories shown here may differ from the categories in your view, since the list is dynamic. If new categories are created for the WAGO Download Center, the list of categories in this dialog will be automatically expanded. Then you will initially get automatic notifications of new content in the new categories, but you can use the notification settings to limit these notifications as needed.
