Requirements
The system requirements listed here pertain to the WAGO Solution Builder software, consisting of a Webserver, a database, background services and configurators.

Requirements: The WAGO Solution Builder Plug-in software requires an IEC development environment
To use the WAGO Solution Builder Plug-in software, you must have an IEC development environment installed on your PC. The software must then be manually enabled or installed in this IEC development environment.

You need the WAGO “Licensing” add-on to identify factory-installed licenses and use optional and licensed license libraries under CODESYS. You can find the add-on in the WAGO Download Center.
Requirements: Access Rights to Server Addresses
The WAGO Solution Builder software requires partial access to certain URLs in order to function. Therefore, the following URLs must not be blocked in the network:

Requirements: Ports to Enable
Certain ports are required for managing and configuring connected controllers. The following ports must be enabled between the WAGO Device Communication Service software and the controllers (or in the controller firewall):

32000 | WAGO Solution Builder | Default port for WAGO Solution Builder. The port can be changed during installation or afterwards in the configuration files. It can also be changed there to 443 (HTTPS), which usually enables it. |
32001 | WAGO Device Communication Service | Default port for the WAGO Device Communication Service (DCS port external). The port can be changed during installation or afterwards in the configuration files. |
32002 | WAGO Legacy Communication Service | Default port for the WAGO Legacy Communication Service (DCS port internal). The port can be changed during installation or afterwards in the configuration files. |
32003 | WAGO Tool Gateway Service | Default port for the WAGO Tool Gateway Service. The port can be changed during installation or afterwards in the configuration files. |
32004 | PostgreSQL | Default port for the database server. The port can be changed during installation or afterwards in the configuration files. |
47808 | BACnet (BAC0) | Default port for BACnet (BAC0) or the ports set in the controllers. |
If ports 32000 … 32004 are changed during installation, the newly chosen ports must be enabled accordingly.
