Activate “e!COCKPIT MTP” Add-on

The “e!COCKPIT MTP“ add-on (license required) is required to create plant modules in e!COCKPIT. The add-on can also be used without a license for up to 30 days. Generally, WAGO software has a trial period of 30 days (days of actual use). The remaining time to try the add-on may be less if time has been spent for e!COCKPIT itself or other add-ons.

  1. Install the “e!COCKPIT MTP” add-on on the “Updates & Add-ons” page of the Backstage view (see Performing Software Updates).
  2. The icon behind the add-on indicates that the add-on requires a license.
  3. Enter the license number on the “Licensing” page of the Backstage view (see Enabling Licensed Add-ons).
  1. The license is activated (Internet connection required). The “Module Type Package (MTP)” function now also appears on the “Import/Export” page of the Backstage view.
