“CONTROLLER“ Tab

The “CONTROLLER“ tab lists all the controllers for a solution and selected filters. Besides the status display of the individual controllers and the details of their configuration, the connection status of a solution can also be changed on this tab, for example switching the solution to the “Online“ mode.

Opens the dialog “Firmware update“ for updating the firmware for the controllers selected in the list.

You can find further information at 8 “Firmware Update“ Dialog.

[Backup...]

Opens the “Backup” dialog. Controller backups can be created. Recurring backup routines can also be defined in terms of time.

You can find further information at 8 “Backup“ Dialog.

You can find further information at 8 “Backup Manager“ Dialog.

The “Restore“ dialog displays all of the backups saved in the WAGO Solution Builder for the selected controller. You can initiate a restore after selecting a backup.

[Execute...]

Executes scripts on the selected controller.

[BACnet]

Opens the WAGO BACnet Configurator for editing the selected controller.

Besides manual changes to the BACnet configuration which results in unlinking of that configuration from the Application template, the results of a BACnet configuration can also be checked in this way prior to synchronization. For example, ultimate use of the BACnet object name can be checked using the addressing system code.

Note: The following query appears as soon as the WAGO BACnet Configurator is closed after synchronization: “Do you want to save and synchronize modifications back to WAGO Solution Builder?“. Answer “no” to this query with [Discard and Exit], if you do not wish to make any changes!

[Offline]

Switches between the “Online“ and “Offline“ mode.

The “Online“ mode activates a monitoring job that regularly queries the current status of all solution controllers. This includes the “RUN status“ or the current firmware version. The “Offline“ mode is also a prerequisite for starting a synchronization job and for a manual firmware update, as well as a Back-up-and-Restore operation.

[Synchronize]

Synchronize changes

Synchronizes only the modified configuration components for the selected controller.

Synchronize all

Synchronizes the modified and non-modified (i.e., all) configuration components for the selected controller.

Compile manually

Opens the “Synchronize differences“ dialog for performing a manually compiled synchronization procedure.

You can find further information at 8 “Synchronize Differences“ Dialog.
